Government filing fees paid to state agencies (Secretary of State) are NON-REFUNDABLE once submitted, regardless of approval status. These fees are collected by us on your behalf and paid directly to government agencies.

Rejected Filings

If your filing is rejected due to our error, we will:

  • Refile at no additional cost
  • Cover any additional state fees

Note: Rejections due to incorrect information provided by you are subject to re-filing fees.

Government processing times are beyond our control and do not qualify for refunds.

How long do refunds take to appear in my account?

We process refunds within 5-10 business days of approval. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or credit card company. Typically:

  • Credit Cards: 3-5 business days after we process
  • Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 5-7 business days
Can I get a refund if my LLC application is rejected by the state?

This depends on the reason for rejection:

  • Our Error: Full refund of our service fees + we'll cover re-filing costs
  • Your Information Error: Service fees are non-refundable, but we'll help you correct and re-file (additional fees may apply)
  • State Requirements: If the state changes requirements after filing, we'll work with you to meet new requirements at no extra cost

Important: State filing fees are non-refundable regardless of rejection reason.

What if I change my mind after ordering?

You have a 30-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase:

  • Before Document Preparation: 100% refund of our service fees
  • After Preparation, Before Filing: 50% refund of our service fees
  • After Filing: No refund of service fees (state fees never refundable)

Contact us immediately if you wish to cancel. The sooner you contact us, the better your refund eligibility.

Are there any non-refundable fees?

Yes, the following fees are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • State government filing fees (once submitted)
  • Expedited processing fees (once processing begins)
  • Third-party verification fees
  • Document retrieval fees (for work already performed)
  • Consultation fees (for consultations already conducted)
Can I transfer my service to someone else instead of getting a refund?

Yes! We offer service transfers as an alternative to refunds:

  • Transfer Fee: $25 administration fee applies
  • Eligibility: Service must not have been filed with state agencies yet
  • Process: Both parties must provide identification and complete transfer forms
  • Timing: Transfers must be completed within 60 days of original purchase

This can be a great option if you've already started the process but can't complete it yourself.
